Parent & Teacher/Educator Programs

We love training dancers and athletes to achieve their true potential and reach their loftiest goals and become a resilient athlete. However, we also understand how important it is that the parents, teachers, and coaches are also involved. Which is why we designed special programs specifically for them.

Parents, you know what the dance/athletic life is like as you have probably been a part of the atmosphere for years. As proud as you are of your child(ren), there are some concerns that all parents of dancers and athletes feel for them. Injuries, body image issues, constant pressure, and even shortened careers are all so common. But, we're here to tell you that we can help you rest easy and help prolong your child's career and health.

These programs are for parents and teachers/educators interested in helping their children/students reduce the number of injuries that occur throughout their dance/athletic careers. Beyond that, we teach them how to recognize patterns and habits that can eventually lead to imbalance and injury and how to reverse them.

For Parents-

Help your dancer or athlete prolong their career and health!

Our parent-focused workshops were created to introduce parents to basic functional training techniques to encourage proper form and strong bodies as well as nutrition coaching to encourage well-rounded hormones, gut health, and overall bodily function.

Our goal at La Belle Vie is to encourage prolonged careers for athletes and dancers which is why we partner with their parents and even their teachers to further their goals. As dancers and athletes continue toward a professional career, their joints, muscles, and connective tissue are placed under undue stress that can easily cause a breakdown which can cut their careers short.

Parents can take their knowledge to help their child(ren) incorporate injury prevention practices into their daily routine as well as healthy meals, both on-the-go and at home. You will learn how to use proper functional training techniques at home to encourage cross-training as well as how to build simple menu plans based on your busy schedule.

What to expect in this program:

  • Functional training guidance and how to properly apply it at home

  • Positives and negatives to flexibility training

  • Hands-on application to help attendees recognize proper and improper placement that could cause damage

  • Simple menu planning to build healthy meals both at home and on-the-go

These programs will be available in Summer of 2022. If you would like updates on when this program in officially available, you can sign up for our newsletter.

For Teachers/Educators-

These teacher and educator-focused programs were created with the dance teachers and athletic coaches in mind to introduce them to exercises and stretches appropriate for their students and to encourage increased performance. Our goal here at La Belle Vie is to encourage prolonged careers for athletes and dancers which is why we are partnering with their instructors to further that goal.

As dancers and athletes continue toward professional careers, their joints, muscles, and connective tissue are placed under stress and can be easily broken down. Teachers and coaches should understand how important it is that they know how to incorporate injury prevention practices into their repertoire. Moving forward without setbacks of injuries is what we help you work toward.

We will teach you how to apply basic functional fitness science, neuromuscular balance, and proper flexibility training into your dance programs. Teachers and coaches will also come to understand how movement either encourages strong technique or leads to functional decline.

If injury prevention is your goal for your students, this program is perfect for you!

What to expect in this program:

  • Functional training guidance and how to properly apply it to your dance/athletic classes

  • The basics of neuromuscular control and how to achieve balance and alignment

  • Positives and negatives to flexibility training and how to build the appropriate class based on biomechanics

  • Class structure for optimal performance, endurance, and control without loss of power and stability

  • Hands-on application to help attendees recognize proper and improper placement that could cause damage

These programs will be available in Summer of 2022. If you would like updates on when this program in officially available, you can sign up for our newsletter.
