Whether you have never done ballet before or you have been considering getting back into ballet after time off, this class offers everything you need to build/strengthen technique. Students will learn basic, fundamental positioning and movements both at the barre and in the center.

As with our regular classes, our adult ballet class will focus heavily on flexibility, coordination, strength, and most of all, technique. Modifications will be provided in order to provide for each individual and their skill level.

The difference between this and our Ballet 4 class is that students enrolled in Beginner Adult Ballet do not perform in our end-of-year showcase.

 

​Ladies are required to wear any color leotard, pink tights, and pink ballet shoes (leather or canvas). Modest activewear is also acceptable. Skirts are optional but not required. Hair MUST be pulled back into a bun. Those with shorter hair that will not go into a bun must have it pulled back into ponytail. Students will be required to have their hair fixed before entering the classroom.

Gentlemen are required to wear white dance t-shirts, black tights/pants or dance shorts, and black ballet shoes (canvas or leather). Modest activewear is also acceptable. Dance belts are required if wearing dancewear.

An annual registration fee is required. Registration closes on August 28th. Classes begin August 31st, 2026.

​We accept checks (made out to Providence Arts LLC), cash, and card (3% surcharge added). Invoices will be sent out on the first Monday of each month and must be paid within 7 days ($15 late fee will be required if your invoice is not paid within 10 days).
